Leon Gasco

Bar Manager

Leon was born and raised in the heart of France’s Champagne region - a fact he will proudly remind you of at every opportunity. His passion for hospitality began early; by the age of 13, he already knew he wanted to work in the industry. The allure of a luxury environment, a global clientele, and the opportunity to collaborate with international teams continues to drive him every day.

Over the course of seven years with Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts, Leon gained extensive experience across the world. He joined the opening team of the Four Seasons Surf Club in Miami in 2017, then moved to Hong Kong to complete a Food and Beverage Manager-in-Training programme. He later took on a role at Four Seasons London at Ten Trinity Square, working at the two-Michelin-starred restaurant by Anne-Sophie Pic. Craving something entirely new, he returned to Hong Kong in 2023 to manage ARGO, a bar that consistently ranked among Asia’s and the World’s 50 Best Bars.

After a short break outside of Four Seasons, in September 2025, Leon joined Yannick Alléno London to lead Bar Antoine. Having missed the Four Seasons culture and service values, the chance to work alongside Chef Yannick on a new London project was one he couldn’t pass up.

For Leon, the highlight so far has been joining a team full of talent, ambition, and positive energy: “Everyone here wants to push the boundaries, and we make sure to have fun whilst doing it.”

His advice for success in hospitality is simple but meaningful: “You have to love what you do. Some days will be tough, but if you enjoy being there for others - guests and colleagues alike - it is incredibly rewarding.”

What is your favourite dish/cocktail on the menu?

At the moment, my favorite cocktail is the Red Allenotics, which is a Chef Alléno twist on the G&T, using extraction method to get the best flavor of Pomegranate, mint and a touch of rose. It’s super refreshing, yet complex.

What are your top three ingredients you cannot live without?

Lemon -  in cocktails like in food, it’s a must to bring acidity.

Chocolate - especially if you put it in a Soufflé, like on our menu

Cheese - did I mention I’m French?

What is your go-to recipe to make at home?

Orzo in cherry tomato sauce and a touch of garlic. Heartwarming and delicious.

What is your dream bar to visit?

I have been lucky enough to visit Bar Leone in Hong Kong a few times already - currently number one on the World’s 50 Best Bars list. Now, top of my list is Bar Montana, just next door. It is another creation by Lorenzo Antinori, this time with Simone Caporale. I’m sure it offers a truly special experience.
